I'm a nonprofit consultant with over a decade of experience working across educational, nonprofit, and community-based spaces.

I hold a Master's degree in Higher Education Leadership and a certificate in Nonprofit Management. Throughout my career, I've developed, launched, and overseen programs and initiatives focused on education, youth development, and community engagement. Much of my work has been alongside diverse communities, including refugees, first-generation college students, and historically underserved and marginalized populations.

My experience has shaped both my understanding of nonprofit work and my commitment to the people it serves. I've seen how much dedication goes into building programs that respond to real community needs, and how challenging it can be to sustain that work with limited time and resources. I care deeply about creating opportunities for people and communities to thrive, and I bring that same care, perspective, and practical experience to the organizations I support.

Hi, I’m Laila Khalil

My Approach

I approach consulting as a partnership built on listening, collaboration, and a genuine understanding of the work organizations do.

Every organization has its own strengths, challenges, and priorities. I take the time to understand what matters most, what resources are available, and where additional support can make a difference. From there, we work together to develop thoughtful, practical strategies that reflect both the organization's goals and its capacity.

My role goes beyond offering recommendations. I work alongside organizations to strengthen existing initiatives, bring new ideas to life, and help move their work forward, from planning through implementation.

If you're looking for someone who understands nonprofit work and values both the people and the process, I'd love to connect.
